Direct C—H Difluoromethylenephosphonation of Arenes and Heteroarenes with Bromodifluoromethyl Phosphonate via Visible‐Light Photocatalysis.

The first visible-light-driven difluoromethylenephosphonation of arenes and hetarenes is presented using diethyl bromodifluoromethylphosphonate as radical precursor in the presence of fac-Ir(PPy)3 (IRP) as photocatalyst.
