The Course Charted by the Party

The Twenty-Sixth Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union [CPSU] has become a historic event in the life of the party and the Soviet people. The vivid, impressive report presented at the congress by Comrade L. I. Brezhnev, General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee, and the broad program adopted by the congress for the economic and social development of the USSR during the new five-year plan evoked profound interest throughout our country and elsewhere in the world and gave new impetus to the development of the labor and political activism of our Motherland's working people.
