Доклиническая оценка токсичности, безопасности в применении и исследование свойств керамики на основе оксида алюминия

The data of the experimental study of acute, chronic toxicity and safety in use on a large group of laboratory animals: rats «Vistar», white mice and rabbits of the new dental alumina material produced by plasma spraying was represented. As a control, similar studies were conducted on the approved ceramics based on alumina, manufactured in Germany. The study showed no acute toxicity in both types of ceramics based on alumina. LD50 has not been identified. In all animals there was observed absence of irritative effect of both porcelains. By the severity of expression of irritation to the skin and mucous membranes both alumina ceramcis of native and foreign production refer to the "0" class of substances on the five-point system on OG Alekseeva, AI Pyatkevich (1972). The developed by us ceramics based on alumina has no inhibitory effect on the central nervous system and can be used after clinical trials in dental practice.
