A set of orthopedic surgical instrument (10) comprising: (a) a device (12) for fixing comprising: (i) a housing (34) having a longitudinal axis (40) and a passage (52) defined in its therein extending along the longitudinal axis, (ii) a pair of rails (36, 38) extending outwardly from the housing, each rail a longitudinal axis (50) extending orthogonally relative to the longitudinal axis the housing, and (iii) a frame (32) assembly placed in the pair of rails, the mounting frame being configured to slide relative to the housing along the pair of rails, (b) an intramedullary orthopedic surgical instrument ( 16, 22) including a shaft (242, 422) placed in the passageway of the housing, and (c) a block (14) engaged cutting removably to the mounting frame, characterized in that the intramedullary orthopedic surgical instrument comprises: ( i) a surgical reamer (18) tie ne a first end fixed to the shaft (242) and a second end positioned opposite the first end, and a stem (20) test fixed to the second end of the surgical reamer, or (ii) a cutter (22) which is fixed to its axis (422), and having a tapered outer surface (284) and a plurality of teeth (290) extending cutting outwardly from the tapered outer surface, and the fixing device includes a mechanism (70) locking the fixing device fixed to the housing, mechanism being configured locking device for fixing the fixing device to the axis of intramedullary orthopedic surgical instrument.
