The control method comprises the following steps: establishing a first cleaning pathway for communicating the scale inhibiting mechanism of a water purifier and a RO membrane member, washing the RO membrane member by the scale inhibiting mechanism for a first preset time through the first cleaning pathway; establishing an evacuating pathway that is connected to the scale inhibiting mechanism, evacuating the fluid in the scale inhibiting mechanism through the evacuating pathway; establishing a second cleaning pathway that is communicated with raw water, and washing the RO membrane member by raw water for a second preset time through the second cleaning pathway. The method also comprises the following steps: establishing a water producing pathway that is communicated with raw water, and producing pure water through the water producing pathway. The provided water purifier control method and water purifier can effectively avoid the phenomenon that the scaling agent in the scaling mechanism is in a dissolved state and the consumption of scaling agent is too fast.
