A comparative study on labeling microvasculature in placental villi of early gestational period by FVIII-RAg and CD34

Objective To obtain an appropriate marker for microvessel of early pregnancy placental villi.Methods Placental villi were obtained from 45 normal early pregnancies and their microvessel were labeled by FⅧ-RAg or CD34 by using immunohistochemistry techniques.Results The positive ratio and microvessel density of placental villi were distinct different that were labeled by two markers.Conclusions CD34 is an appropriate marker for placental villi microvessel of early gestational period but FⅧ-RAg is not.
