Two-stage amygdaloid lesions and hypothalamic rage: A method useful for detecting functional localization

1978
Abstract Two stage bilateral amygdaloid lesions, with a 3 hr interval, in freely-moving cats resulted in marked attenuation of the threshold lowering effect of threatening provocation after the 2nd stage destruction. This destruction method appears to be useful for the identification of some functional localization.
