Photodiode array detection in high-performance capillary electrophoresis

Abstract A photodiode array detection system was applied to high-performance capillary electrophoresis. Spectra were obtained for mixtures of aromatic compounds and water-soluble vitamins. Photodiode array detection enabled accurate characterization of separated components and was a powerful tool for the investigation of mixed zones.
