2010
In this article we present some of the main results of the researches we carried out to evaluate the employment and training programs developed in Asturias and concluded between June 2001 and July 2004. We evaluated 100 projects developed in Work Schools, Job-learning Centres and Employment Workshops. The fundamental elements of the evaluation are the assessment of the satisfaction of all people involved in the development of the projects and the follow-up of the laboral insertion of the students of these programs. To evaluate the satisfaction, we worked with all the projects generated from the employment-formation programs and with all the population of the different implicated audiences: directors, teachers, monitors, personnel of support, administrative personnel and workers-students. The procedures that we used in order to collect the information of the satisfaction study were: in-depth interviews, questionnaires, phone interviews and discussion groups. In the follow-up of the laboral insertion we also work with all the workers-students that went by all the projects, 6 and 12 months after they finished their formation, through phone interviews. In this work we include: the proof of the relevance of this research, the methodological design of the study, the profile of the participants in the formation-employment programs, the assessment of the administration and the promoters entities, the evaluation of the project development, the evaluation of the project results and the main results of the follow-up from the laboral insertion of the trained workers-students.
