QCD bremsstrahlung effects in hadronic production of jets at the CERN pp collider

Abstract Effects attributable to QCD bremsstrahlung which have been recently observed in hadronic production of jets by the UA1 and UA2 collaborations are compared with theoritical expectations. The theoretical results are sensitive to the value of the QCD parameter λ . λ ≅ 0.1 GeV gives reasonable agreement with experimentally observed effects.
