In Memoriam: Zygmunt Hejnowicz (1929–2016)

ABSTRACTProfessor Zygmunt Hejnowicz passed away aged 87, on the first of May 2016. We describe his major research interests and contribution to plant development, anatomy, and biophysics, from the perspective of his close collaborators.
