Under-surface printable sheet material for outdoor signboard

1992
PURPOSE: To improve weatherability and physical damage resistance and facilitate sticking by applying an adhesive such as transferable adhesive on the printed surface of polyvinyl fluoride film and placing the film so that the graphic comes to the innermost layer. CONSTITUTION: A sheet material 20 contains a polyvinyl fluoride film 21, an applying tape 22 which is detachably adhered on one face 32 of this film 21, and a carrying tape 23 which is detachably adhered on the applying tape 22. Letters and marks are printed as a reverse image on the exposed face 33 of the film 21. An adhesive 42 is applied on the printed face 33 with a transferable tape 40. When the printed film 21 is attached to the selected face, the carrying tape 23 is peeled off and then the film 21 is attached on that surface with the adhesive 42, and the applying tape 22 is removed. Thereby, the printed letters and marks 4 position on the innermost face 33 of the film 21, and are protected by the thickness of the film 21.
