A container for impact resistant transport and crushing (200, 300, 400, 500) comprising: at least one set of vial and cap (100), the at least one set of vial and cap (100) having a height set (h1), a first width (w1) and an indentation having a second width (w2) smaller than the first width (w1), the intermediate indentation being located relative to the stack height (h1) assembly comprising vial and cap (100) an inactivated position and an activated position and being activatable assembly vial and cap by action comprising a reduced height of the assembly; an outer body (314, 420) having faces (422, 424) and a base defining a cavity and an opening, the cavity having a depth (d1), the body further comprising a cover that can be closed (208, 308, 408) to enclose the cavity; a divider partitioning (416, 516) defining at least one receptacle (312, 412, 512) extending vertically to receive at least a portion of at least one set of vial and cap (100), the receptacle (312 , 412, 512) deeper than the height of the assembly (h1), the compartmentalization divider (416, 516) a height (h3) less than the depth (d1) of the cavity; an insert (204, 304, 404, 504 (a), 504 (b), 504 (c)) having at least one opening (206, 306, 406, 506) therethrough to receive the at least one set of vial and cap (100), each opening having a width greater than the second width (w2) and less than the first width (w1) of at least one set of vial and cap (100) so that the at least one set of vial and cap (100) is suspended in the opening (206, 306, 406, 506) of the insert (204, 304, 404, 504 (a), 504 (b), 504 (c)) in the indentation, in which divider compartmentalization (416, 516) is arranged relative to the insert (204, 304, 404, 504 (a), 504 (b), 504 (c)) so that the at least one vial assembly and cover (100) is at least partially suspended within the receptacle, wherein the divider compartmentalization (416, 516) and the insert (204, 304, 404, 504 (a), 504 (b), 504 (c)) with at least one vial and cap assembly (100) suspended therein are positioned within the cavity so the cover (208, 308, 408) can be closed without contacting with the at least one set of vial and cap (100), wherein the opening (206, 306, 406, 506) present in the insert (204 , 304, 404, 504 (a), 504 (b), 504 (c)) further comprises a frangible or deformable portion, wherein if sufficient force is applied to the vial assembly and cover (100), the set of vial and cap (100) can be pushed through the opening (206, 306, 406, 506) and pass into the receptacle (312, 412, 512) breaking or deforming the frangible or deformable portion, and the depth of the receptacle is sufficient to prevent contact between broken or deformed sufficient to activate the vial and cap assembly (100) when the vial and cap assembly (100) has passed the receptacle (312, 412, 512) portion.
