Analyzing the Performance of Terrestrial FSO Link for Different Internal Parameters of the System

FSO is widely used for its enormous advantages like high security, high data rate and increased bandwidth and the most important it provides license free band allocation. In this paper, different internal parameters of FSO (Free Space Optical) link has been analyzed for the performance investigation. The internal parameters are associated with the design of the system. In this context, the quality of the received signal has been observed with the variation of input power, bitrate and different type of transmitters. The effects of variations in beam divergence and receive aperture diameter have also been considered in the present study.
