The intelligent communication module is used for communicating with the controller of a control layer and each IO module of an input/output module through a bus and Modbus communication protocol, receiving a read-write IO module instruction sent by the controller, meanwhile analyzing an output control instruction of the controller, returning the data in each IO module buffer zone input area to the controller, sending an output instruction to each output module, sending a read instruction to each input module and storing the read data in each IO module data buffer input area. The intelligent communication module increases the communication rate between the controller and each IO module, has high compatibility, and is safe and stable to operate.
