Dielectric properties of zeolite based metal oxide nanocomposites

2019
Abstract Metal oxide/ZSM-5 composites are developed and dielectric properties are studied. The dielectric properties of composites depend on type and concentration of metal oxide nanoparticles. All composites show higher dielectric permittivities than pure ZSM-5 zeolite. The composites show a trend of gradual decrease in dielectric constant with increase in metal oxide content. The highest dielectric constant values are observed for 25% ZnO, TiO 2 and CuO metal oxide fillers. The dissipation factors are also found to exhibit low values. The ac conductivity remains constant in low frequency region and increases linearly at high frequencies. CuO blended composites depict extremely high dielectric values.
