Although monoclonal antibodies (Moab) are useful for delineating small residual deposits of tumor, radioimmunolocalization (RIL) in humans would be greatly improved if nonlocalizing antibody was removed from the blood pool more effectively, and uptake of antibody in other tissues, particularly by hepatic Fc receptors, was reduced.
