Caracterización y clasificación de los hongos silvestres comestibles en los Altos de Chiapas a través de la lengua tsotsil

In this paper we characterized and classified the names of wild edible mushrooms in dialectal variants of tsotsil in the Highlands of Chiapas, Mexico. We identified generic categories in nine areas and in four regions of Huixtan county, we collect data on ancestral knowledge about natural environment, the differents places and layers were mushrooms are growing and also on linguistic and gastronomic questions. Because through them we can access to a huge amount of knowledge about ecosystem and biocultural heritage, we insist on the necessity of having much more sociocultural, intercultural and interepistemic work concerning mushrooms. For this we use a qualitative and ethnographic approach through fieldwork and interviews.
