Electronic Raman scattering and phonon self-energy effects in osmium

1994
Abstract The scattering of light by conduction electrons in osmium, which has an anisotropic Fermi surface (FS), has been studied in the normal state. The electronic continuum was found to show a significant redistribution of states below 100 K, which is correlated with E 2 g phonon self-energy anomalies in the same temperature range.
