Mechanism of complete disintegration of AgBr nuclei by relativistic light nuclei

We present and discuss experimental data on the complete disintegration of nuclei of the heavy component of nuclear emulsion by deuterons, ..cap alpha.. particles, and /sup 12/C nuclei with momentum about 4.5 GeV/c per nucleon. These data are systematically compared with the characteristics of interactions with larger impact parameter and with the predictions of several models.
