The invention provides a joint type horizontal axis wind turbine blade section for an icing test, and belongs to the technology of wind turbines. A left flange type clamping plate and a right flange type clamping plate are installed on a shoulder type spindle in a sleeved and matched mode, radial clearances are arranged between an inner hole of the left flange type clamping plate and a spindle neck of the shoulder type spindle and between an inner hole of the right flange type clamping plate and the spindle neck of the shoulder type spindle, the left end of the shoulder type spindle and the right end of the shoulder type spindle are provided with external threads and internal threads respectively, the external threads and the internal threads are matched in size, and the shoulder type spindle is fixedly installed between the left flange type clamping plate and the right flange type clamping plate in the clamped mode through a fastener group to form a whole; the left flange type clamping plate and the right flange type clamping plate are integrally arranged in a hollow cavity of the horizontal axis wind turbine hollow blade section and connected in a fixed installation mode. The joint type horizontal axis wind turbine blade section is novel, reasonable and compact in structure, convenient to assemble and adjust, high in practicability and wide in application range.
