O ST E R A B (Hazard ratio 1⁄4 0.517, P 1⁄4 0.043) at baseline were independent predictors of prognosis in idiopathic PAH.According toKaplan-Meier survival curves, survivalwas lower inpatientswithan inframedian TVI index< 12.38 cm/m (log-rank test, P1⁄40.001). Conclusion: The time-velocity integral index of the aortic flow powerfully reflects the influence of right ventricle to left ventricle and may serve as an independent predictor of prognosis in patients with idiopathic PAH.
