Determination of Ethyl Carbamate Content in Grape Wine by GC / MS Internal Standard Method

2010
The measurement of ethyl carbamate content in grape wine by liquid-liquid extraction combined with GC/MS internal standard method had been developed.n-propyl carbamate was used as internal standard, and the parameters in liquid-liquid extraction were optimized including pH values of the samples,KCl addition level, and the use level of dichloromethane etc.The optimum measurement conditions were summed up as follows: pH value of the samples was natural pH value,KCl concentration was 40 %,and the use level of dichloromethane was 3×100 mL.Under the above conditions, the detection limits were 8.0 μg/L,and the recoveries and RSD were 90.7 %~106.3 % and 4.64 %~8.15 % respectively.Such method was suitable for quantitative determination of ethyl carbamate in grape wine.
