A Comparative Study on Hemorheological Property of Six Kinds of Cyprinidae Fish

The whole blood viscosity values of six kinds of Cyprinidae fish were tested by the cone and plate viscometer of NXE-1B type at seven shear rates,and the measurement was done from higher shear rates to lower ones at 25.4 ℃.The erythrocyte aggregation index,the whole blood Casson yield stress and Casson viscosity of the six kinds of fish were got by viscosity equation and linear regression using Casson equation.The results were found that the whole blood viscosity η_b of six kinds of fish declined with the increasing of shear rates.At seven shear rates,η_b for Aristichthys nobilis was the highest,η_b for Ctenopharyngodon idellus was the lowest.The order of Casson yield stress from high to low is:Hypophthalmichthys molitrix,Aristichthys nobilis,Ctenopharyngodon idellus,Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus,Megalobrama amblycephala Yih,Carassius auratus Linnaeu.The order of Casson viscosity from high to low is:Aristichthys nobilis,Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus,Carassius auratus Linnaeus,Megalobrama amblycephala Yih,Ctenopharyngodon idellus,Hypophthalmichthys molitrix.The order of erythrocyte aggregation index from high to low is:Hypophthalmichthys molitrix,Ctenopharyngodon idellus,Aristichthys nobilis,Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus,Megalobrama amblycephala Yih,Carassius auratus Linnaeus.
