18va OLIMPIADA BOLIVIANA DE FISICA 8va OLIMPIADA BOLIVIANA DE ASTRONOMIA Y ASTROFÍSICA: 4ta ETAPA: FINAL NACIONAL: TARIJA, DEL 14 AL 17 DE AGOSTO DE 2013

The 18th Olympiad of Physics Boliviana (18 ?? OBF) and Bolivian 8th Olympiad of Astronomy and Astrophysics (8 ?? obaa) were carried out successfully in 4 stages of management 2013: 1st stage: internal selection tests in each EDUCATIONAL UNIT, 2nd stage, DISTRITAL: simultaneous tests on each of the 277 districts across the country, May 11, 2013, 3rd sTAGE: DEPARTAMENTAL: tests taken at @ s best students in the 2nd stage, June 15 2013 and 4th stage: NATIONAL: where participated only 3 categories: 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. It was held from 14 to 17 August 2013 in the capital city of Tarija with the participation of 9 teams per category for each Olympiad. Both Olympics (OBF - obaa) were coupled for the third consecutive year, the project launched by the Ministry of Education of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, entitled Olympiad Scientific Student Plurinational Boliviana (OCEPB), which was invited to participate 6 areas of pure and natural sciences: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Biology, Physics, Computer science, Mathematics and Chemistry. The organization of the event also included the participation of the following organizations and institutions: Bolivian Olympic Committee for Astronomy and Astrophysics, Bolivian Olympic Committee for Physics, Bolivian Society of Physics (SOBOFI), the Bolivian Association for the Advancement of Science (ABAC) , the Departmental Directorate of Cochabamba; Races Physics at the University Mayor de San Andres (UMSA), the University of San Simon (UMSS), and the Autonomous University Tomas Frias (UATF), the departments of Physics of the Private University of Santa Cruz de la Sierra ( UPSA), the Technical University of Oruro (UTO), the Universidad Mayor, Royal and Pontifical San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca (UM-RPSFXCh), the Autonomous University Juan Misael Saracho (UAJMS) and the Association for the Improvement of teaching Sciences (AMEC). It is always advisable to give incentive to all Bolivian youth through motivation and healthy competition in the national event and invite to participate all categories. This continuous and sustained training is accomplished, not only for the next immediate management but with several years in advance; this recipe is definitely the best way to increase awareness in the Bolivian youth and achieve more competitive at international level representations; should spare no resources in the education of the next generation because without doubt is a key to progress towards optimal scientific and technological research investment in the country. L @ s winner @ s of the categories: the 5th, the 4th, the 3rd, 2nd, 1st Secondary & 6th Primary form the Bolivian teams shortlisted candidates for future Olympic events: Latin American, Hispanic American and International to be held the following steps 2014 , 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 respectively. Each year the selection must be performed again by testing equipment and in the concentrations prepared by the Academic Committee of each area. The winners of the 6th category Secondary, whose main prize, free entry and direct access to any of the races of Sciences and / or Engineering universities committed to the Olympics.
