Quadratic temperature dependence up to 50 K of the resistivity of metallic MoTe2

2007
Abstract Electrical transport studies have been carried out on single crystals of metallic MoTe 2 . Temperature-dependent electrical resistivity, ρ ( T ) − ρ ( 0 ) , was found proportional to T 2 up to 50 K. The magneto-resistance measurements showed the normal characteristics of a metal, the Hall coefficient has a strong dependence on the temperature.
