The invention relates to a process for at least semi-autonomous maneuvering of a motor vehicle (1), wherein a parking space (9) in a region surrounding (7) of the motor vehicle (1) is detected, a driving trajectory (14) for parking the motor vehicle (1) is determined in the parking space (9), the motor vehicle (1) along the determined driving trajectory (14) is maneuvered and a position value is determined during maneuvering by means of odometry continuously, which describes a position of the motor vehicle (1), wherein a movement of a wheel (15) of the motor vehicle (1) over a curb (12) is detected and the position value is corrected based on the detected movement, wherein a change in height (Az) at least one damper device (17) of an active suspension system (16) of the motor vehicle (1) which is set when moving the wheel (15) over the curb (12) for holding the motor vehicle (1) in a horizontal position, is detected and the is the position value is corrected based on the detected change in height (Az).
