The time-of-flight system of the PAMELA experiment on satellite

2004
The PAMELA (Adriani et al., Nucl. Instr. and Meth. A 478 (2002) 114) (a Payload for Antimatter Matter Exploration and Light-nuclei Astrophysics) satellite-borne experiment, scheduled to be launched at the end of 2004, aboard a Soyuz TM2 rocket, is designed to provide a better understanding of the antimatter component of cosmic rays. Its scintillator telescope system will provide the primary experimental trigger and time-of-flight particle identification.
