A novel and automatic assembly-able conductive silicone rubber key by placement machine

Conductive silicone rubber keys are one of the most commonly and widely used components quantitatively in the electronic industry, such as keyboard, electronic toy and so on. But the main problem confused manufacturers is that how to assembly these low price but huge amount components in low cost but with high efficiency. Nowadays, most manufacturer still used cheap labour hand assembly these silicone rubber keys on the print circuits. Even though a new SMT silicone rubber keys are invented and now used in small range of application. But these kind of conductive silicone rubber keys are high in price and the PCB circuits have to be changed in order to fit for these new SMT conductive silicone rubber keys’ leads, such as solder pads and so on. In order to overcome those disadvantages, a novel patented and automatic assembly-able product is invented. Therefore, a new type of automatic assembly-able one is invented. The differences between them is the two pins under the main key construction. The top surface of the pins are designed to have two small pin holes. The main functions of the pin hole is designed to have insertion function when patented nozzle is used. When these patented nozzle with pins on the nozzle insert its pins into the pin hole in conductive silicone rubber keys, then automatic assembly function is achieved. No pins nozzle is also invented to meet the requirements of the assembly and also has a good performances. The advantages of this new products are that manufacturer do not need to change the production line and they can used the traditional surface mount machine combined with the patented nozzle to assemble the rubber keys. The materials tape and vibration feeder are also constructed. This new system is successfully used in the productions.
