Carriership analysis is a statistical approach for detecting the average increase in the hazard ratio per number of prespecified phenotypic or genotypic risk factors carried by subjects in limitedsized populations. This carriership approach has applicability for identifying the contribution of a group of oligogenic factors in common polygenic disorders.
