Efficiently Preserving the Privacy of the Semantic Routing in Named Data Network

2015
Named Data Network (NDN) is a future Internet architecture, which can make fully use of the current Internet based hosts and peer communication architecture to accommodate new modes of communication. NDN network has a hierarchical namespace, whose name is readable and it uses the name-based routing, which greatly enhanced routing system scalability, reducing network latency. However, its namespace readability leads to its network identification semantic associated with the content. So the NDN network has risks in privacy and confidentiality. In this paper, we propose an improved searchable encryption technology to improve the NDN network routing mechanism. We use cryptography technology to perform route matching operation in the whole cipher text state. Matching retrieval of cached data router tables is in untrusted routing system. Algorithm and encryption technology meet the principles of the routing system as efficiently as possible and enhance the access control of system. Security analysis shows that this solution can effectively improve NDN network privacy.
