EVALUATION OF RIDE COMFORT OF A VEHICLE

After discussing traditional evaluation methods of vehicle vibration , a half-car six-degree-freedom suspension vibration model is described with aid of software matlab/simulink. The simulation results indicate that the proposed suspension system shows significant improvement in ride comfort . Also an evaluation method of vibration comfort based on annoyance rate is proposed, the annoyance rate model of a vehicle system subjected to random excitations is obtained.
