Mössbauer velocity calibration via interferometry
1971
Abstract Velocity calibration in Mossbauer spectrometers operated in the constant acceleration mode is achieved by laser interferometry. The fringe rate measures absolute velocity. The preferred mode of operation multiplexes the Mossbauer spectrum, velocity, and timing signals onto a single record. A computer program for handling the data is described.
