Raman Scattering Temperature Measurement behind a Shock Wave a Study of Solid Explosives

1986
We have previously shown (1) the possibility to determine experimentally, from Raman scattering, the temperature reached by a material compressed by a shock wave. In order to obtain sustained shock profiles we realized an experimental arrangement fit to use in field conditions with important explosives structures.
