The aim of this study was to determine the amino acid composition and its comparison in different muscles musculus longissimus lumborum (MLL) and musculus semimembranosus (MS) in wild boars with a comparable body weight and representing the same age class. The research involved 10 wild boars. Samples for testing were taken from the central part of the following muscles: MLL, MS. The content of amino acids in the samples was determined with the automatic amino acid analyzer AAA-400 (INGO's). The levels of respective amino acids in muscle MLL
