2014
Conducted a 3-year prospective observational study evaluating the prognostic value of the indicators of alcohol anamnesis from 203 patients with cirrhosis alcoholic etiology. Group of the deceased and surviving patients for the same periods was compared to the daily dose of alcohol, the total (for all years) dose taken alcohol and frequencies (modes) of alcohol. Statistically signifi cant differences in the comparison groups received only in terms of frequency of alcohol intake. More frequent intake of alcohol is associated with increased mortality cirrhosis. This is due to the diffi culty of establishing a daily dose of alcohol patients who fi nd it easier to recall the frequency of alcohol consumption than its quantity. The presence of encephalopathy (liver and alcoholic) in this category of patients complicates the process of determining the daily dose of alcohol consumed and is the main reason for limiting the use of this index in predicting survival in patients with alcoholic cirrhosis. According to our data, in clinical practice, the most high signifi cance in the prediction of survival in patients with alcoholic cirrhosis with signs of encephalopathy (hepatic and alcohol) has a medical history of determining the frequency of alcohol intake.
