Onderstepoort Journal of Veterinary Research, 68:69-70 A serological survey was conducted to determine the prevalence of antibodies to Newcastle disease virus in apparently healthy and unvaccinated adult indigenous chickens. Haemagglutination inhibit­ ing antibodies to Newcastle disease virus were found in the sera of 51 out of 89 (57.3 %) chickens sampled.
