INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE WITH FUNCTION TO SET THE BALANCE OF CONNECTION RODS

2013
An injection molding machine includes a system for adjusting the mold height. External screws are formed individually on four tie bars, and nuts for adjusting the mold height, which are thus brought threadingly engaged, are configured to be independently rotated. In processes prior to the molding puncture the nuts are rotated so for adjusting the mold height, that the movable and stationary clamping plate surfaces retain a desired parallelism. During the mold clamping, the nuts are rotated for adjusting the mold height in such a way that the clamping forces which are generated by the connecting rods are in a desired balance.
