Simulation Of Particulate Matter Distribution Over Iowa

A budget for particulate matter over Iowa is evaluated using high resolution numerical model data. The study uses a box model approach, where mass changes inside the box are determined by internal sources and sinks as well as lateral transport. The Weather Research and Forecast Model with chemical processes (WRF-CHEM) is used to produce data for this study.
