Response of barley to sewage sludge manuring and irrigation in calcareous soils

A pot experiment was carried out to estimate the effect of adding sewage sludge rates to calcareous soil irrigated with sludge effluents with differing salinity content, using barley plants and tap water as a control treatment. Sludge water and sewage sludge were obtained from the Suez Experimental Station at Suez City.
