PROBABILISTIC FRACTURE MECHANICAL FATIGUE ANALYSIS OF FRAME TO HULL JOINTS

Fatigue of frame to hull joints is approached by means of numerical integration of Paris's crack growth relation. Results of computations with the program FAILURE RATE are compared with test results. Starting from the statistical distributions of the input parameters, the service life distribution is computed by means of Monte Carlo simulation.
