Orthese adapted compression / contention for strengthening the musculo-aponeurotic pump of the calf

This brace (10) has a compressive distal portion (14) resiliently extending upwardly from the ankle, associated with a rigid contentive proximal portion (16) adjoining wrapping a calf region comprised between the point of junction between the Achilles tendon and the calf muscles and the level located below the tibial tuberosity. This rigid proximal portion contentive (16) is a deformable tubular portion substantially non-resilient, made by implementation of the orthosis on a template representative of the morphology of the calf of the patient; in situ application on the orthosis in the region of the proximal portion contentive, a biocompatible curable resin; curing the resin with the orthosis maintained on the former; and removal of the orthosis in its finished state.
