Programa formativo sobre vacunas frente a la COVID-19 para el desarrollo de pensamiento crítico

The vaccination strategy against COVID-19 has been developed in an environment of over information in our country and the rest of the EU, which has been accompanied by campaigns to combat disinformation by European health institutions. This proposal presents a training program on vaccines against COVID19 designed for initial teachers’ training at Early years. The objective of the program is to promote the development of critical thinking and an optimal epistemic knowledge about vaccines that favors responsible and reasoned decision-making about vaccination by participants. The program, structured in seven blocks, uses a socio-scientific issues teaching approach based on argumentation and modelling and includes a range of open activities contextualized in real life about controversies related with vaccines and vaccination.
