Clinical observation of recurrent aphthous stomatitis in Sulaimania

constitute (16.25 %), Behcet's disease (12.5 %), gastrointestinal diseases (10 %). Conclusions: From this study the researcher concludes that: Recurrent aphthous ulcer is more common in females than males. Minor aphthous ulceration is more common than major aphthous ulceration and herpetiform ulcer is a very rare form of aphthous ulceration and is also seen in older age group. Minor aphthous ulcers occurs only in nonkeratinized mucosa the most common site is lower lip, but major and herpetiform ulcers occur anywhere in oral cavity including keratinized and non-keratinized mucosa.
