CrUde oils from the Lyuksk area of Udmurtia

1982
This article presents results from an investigation of the crude oils of the Vostochno-Postol'sk field (Vereisk, Yasnopolyansk, and Turneisk horizons) and the Timeevsk field (Kyn horizon), located in the Lyuksk area. The Vostochno-Postol'sk crudes are heavy, high-sulfur, medium-wax, and high-resin. A study of the hydrocarbon group composition of narrow naphtha cuts from the crudes taken from different horizons of the Lyuksk area has shown that the cuts contain considerable amounts (22-30%) of naphthenic hydrocarbons, of which 37-41% consist of 6 membered dihydrogenated naphthenes.
