DOA Estimation for Nested Array from Reusing Redundant Virtual Array Elements Viewpoint

This Paper considers the direction of arrival(DOA) estimation with nested arrays by fully utilizing the redundant virtual array elements.The redundant virtual array achieved in the difference coarray constructed from a nested or coprime array structure is always abandoned in existing techniques.In the paper we proposed a new technique achieves better utilization of redundant virtual array which equivalently increased snapshots of received signal as well as improved DOA estimation performance.
