Extraction Process for Seed Oil From Toxicodendron Vernicifluum by Solvent Method

The effects of treatment temperature,time duration and seed sifting on the rate of oil extraction were studied in this paper,and the optimal extraction conditions were determined through an orthogonal test.Results show that the rate of oil extraction increases sharply with the rise of temperature but the range of the increase is not big when the temperature is between 52 ℃ to 57 ℃;that the rate can be greatly raised by lengthening the extraction time but when the time exceeds 120 minutes,there is no obvious increase;that the optimal sieve mesh for seed sifting is 0.5 mm;that under the following optimal conditions: sieve mesh 0.5 mm,extraction temperature 57 ℃ and extraction time 120 minutes,the rate of oil extraction can reach 26.53%;and that this optimized process is stable and highly efficient.All this provides some support to the production,development and utilization of sumac oil.
