The problem of the diagnostics of musical image perception by hearing-impaired children is among the least studied in correctional pedagogy. How fully and deeply is hearing-impaired child capable to perceive and understand the emotional content of music? What non-verbal methods of research, taking into account the condition of hearingand speech-impaired children can assist receiving the objective data? The special experimental study was devoted to answers to these questions, its results and effective diagnostic methods are outlined in this article.
