The Effect and Mechanism Analysis of Tuberculosis Infection in the Treatment of Bronchial Asthma with Inhaled Corticosteroids in Children

2014
Objective: To investigate the effect and mechanism of tuberculosis( TB) infection in the treatment of bronchial asthma with inhaled corticosteroids( ICS) in children. Method: 70 children with bronchial asthma were divided into observing group( 35cases with TB) and control group( 35 cases without TB). ICS treatments were put in all the patients and the anti-tuberculosis treatment was used in observing group patients only. The results of lung function and the related indices of immunology were compared between two groups. Result: There was significant difference in the comparison of lung function. The related lung function indexes of observing group were higher than the control group. The Th1 / Th2 and interleukin 27 rising as ICS increased with the extension of treatment time. Conclusion: The TB infection can play a positive role in the ICS treatment for children with bronchial asthma,as it maybe have a positive influence to the distribution of T cell subgroup through the impact of IL- 27 which would rise in the TB infection.
