Traffic signal image information identifying and prompting system and method thereof

The invention provides a traffic signal image information identifying and prompting system and a method thereof. The traffic signal image information identifying and prompting system comprises a video signal acquiring system, a video signal processing system and a prompting signal output system, wherein the prompting signal output system can convert the identified traffic signals into humanlike voice and clear signals for representation. The video signal acquiring system transmits compressed images to be processed by the video signal processing system via a data bus and identifies and compares the traffic identification information in the real-time acquired images; finally the prompting signal output system outputs the information to prompt drivers with voice, or outputs as videos and represents the identified signal images, and error prompting is avoided. The traffic signal image information identifying and prompting system can monitor the traffic signals of pavements in the specific environment in real time, and is independent from the satellite signals, so that error caused by no updates of satellite database is avoided. Further, the traffic signal image information identifying and prompting system is benefited by instantaneity and the feedback results are more accurate.
